£2,495.00
Wonderful recreation of one of the most important guitars in Blues history, the late ‘20s Gibson L-1.
Handcrafted by the Gibson Montana Luthiers this historically accurate 2014 Reissue features a traditionally X-Braced Adirondack Red Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, soft V profile Mahogany neck with 1.77” bone nut width, a 12th fret traditional hide glue body/neck joint, 25” scale length, Rosewood fingerboard and traditional rectangle bridge with extended slot and Bone saddle, Mother of Pearl ’The Gibson’ logo and dot inlays, Open back 3-in-line tuners.
The guitar is in excellent condition, there is a minimal amount of fret wear in the first position and light capo marks on the neck back. The guitar is lightweight and projects well with a percussive nature that suits finger-style Ragtime and Blues. The guitar comes with its original blue lined Gibson hardshell case.
