Lovely Gibson TG-0 tenor guitar from 1964, advertised by Gibson as the “perfect answer to the player who wants to step up from the ukelele-tenor or baritone- to the four string tenor guitar”.
In essence the TG-0 is a Gibson LG-0 with a 22 3/4” scale length tenor neck.
Advertised features are; full size satin finish mahogany body, Slim, fast, low-action one-piece mahogany neck with adjustable truss rod, Rosewood fingerboard and special bridge, Beveled pickguard, Gibson Mona-steel strings. 14 1/4” wide, 19” long, 4 1/2” deep; 22 3/4” scale, 19 frets.
The instrument is in fantastic condition having had one owner since new, it has certainly been cherished and well looked after. There are no signs of repair or modification. Currently strung “Chicago style” (D,G,B,E). We have always enjoyed having Tenor guitars in stock, they have become increasingly popular recently with many major brands reintroducing both acoustic and electric versions into their ranges.
The guitar comes with the original Gibson Guarantee and a good quality English made case.
