Evolved from 65 Amps’ first model: the London, the Red Line London Pro is slightly stripped down cosmetically but still retains all of the build quality and tonal magic of it’s namesake.
Handmade in the USA, the London Pro is powered by a pair of EL84s and puts out a tube-rectified (loud!) 18 watts.
Two distinct channels – the EF86 Colour Channel and the 12AX7 Channel – can be combined for a third, high-gain option. When the channels are combined, the volume and tone knobs on each distinct channel now control the gain and tone for just the tubes on the channel they are assigned, allowing extreme tonal versatility. All channels can be controlled by the included footswitch.
The tonal versatility of this amp is second to none – between the two channels sounds range from clear chiming cleans to an abundance of usable British-flavour crunch settings.
As if this wasn’t enough the London Pro also has 65 Amps’ unique Master Voltage Feature enabling the amp to be played at extremely low volumes without losing its rich tone and feel.
This London Pro head is in great, used condition with its original footswitch.
