2012 Davidson 1932 F-5 Mandolin
Beautiful handmade mandolin by highly acclaimed UK luthier Phil Davidson and based on a 1932 Gibson F-5 that resides in the Guitar Museum in Nashville. Handcarved Swiss Pine top, Italian Maple neck, back and sides with African Ebony fingerboard, bridge and headstock facing. This is a very sweet-sounding instrument and the level of craftsmanship on show is incredible. Fitted with Stewart MacDonald hardware throughout and a K & K pickup for amplification. The mandolin comes with a moulded fiberglass hard case and accessories.
