1959 Epiphone Zephyr E-312T
1959 Epiphone Zephyr. Very interesting guitar built just after Gibson completed its acquisition of the Epiphone company in 1957. It has some Gibson traits and some Epiphone and falls somewhere between a Gibson ES-225 and a thinline ES-175 in feel. The ‘New York’ pickups sound fantastic and the bikini logo’d soft V neck is incredibly comfortable. This example has had a headstock repair and a lacquer blowover at some point in its life – however the work has been carried out very well and has been reflected in the price. Overall this is a great, affordable players’ grade vintage guitar – well worth a trip to the shop to check out!
The instrument comes with a contemporary hardshell case.
