2004 Fender 50th Anniversary Deluxe Stratocaster, Sunburst

Fantastic condition Fender 50th Anniversary Deluxe Stratocaster from 2004 in a deep two-tone Sunburst. Released to commemorate 50 years since the release of the Stratocaster and now 20 years old in its own right it was designed by the team at Fender as the perfect showcase of the contemporary features available.

Featuring select Alder body finished in a fifties inspired two-tone Sunburst and gold hardware. A Modern C shaped neck has rolled fingerboard edges for a played in feel, 22 Medium Jumbo frets, a 9.5” fingerboard radius and Abalone dot inlays. Other features include a contoured neck heel to 
Improve access and playability, a special engraved, commemorative Gold plated neck plate. Matching Gold Plated 2-point American Deluxe Tremolo bridge and Gold Schaller staggered, locking Tuners. A 50’s style pickguard houses 3 Bill Lawrence designed Fender Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Strat pickups withFenders ground breaking S-1 Switching system allowing for 10 different pickup configurations. The model had a Limited Release between the 15th January and 31st December and came in a special Commemorative tweed case with assorted paperwork and case candy. 

This guitar has been kept in collectors grade condition and still has the pickguard vinyl and advertising stickers affixed. This is a great playing guitar and thanks to the S-1 switching system has a myriad of useable Stratocaster tones available on tap! The guitar comes with its original case with all the photographed case candy present.
