Nickel part, 'Union Made' orange label 1964/'65 ES-330TD in very good overall condition, with ownership traced back to 1967.
This guitar left the Gibson factory on 13th January 1965 making it a very late nickel part model. It features a transitional nut width of 1&10/16ths, 4 x CTS pots dating to 46th week of '64, ABR-1 bridge, nylon saddles, reflector knobs, original double-line Kluson tuners and a very attractive faded sunburst. There is a small area of touchup (about the size of a five pence piece) on the upper horn and some fairly heavy ring wear/playing wear to the back of the neck.
Overall the guitar is in good shape and plays really well. The nut has been changed, and one of the knobs is a period correct replacement, otherwise it is all original, including the frets.
Plugged in the pickups have a very nice airiness and balance. Output between the two is well matched. The bridge pickup has a nice bite, snap and top end, with the neck pickup giving warmth and fullness which these 330s are synonymous with.
