An excellent example of the sixth and final variant of Gretsch's 6120 model. In Gretsch's marketing literature the Nashville model is described as an updated version of the "immensely popular" Chet Atkins Hollow Body guitar which had established itself as a "pace-setter" thanks to it's "striking good looks, high styling and superb sound." ... We couldn't agree more!

Features include an Electrotone  16" wide, 2" deep, double cutaway hollow body with painted f-holes, "Chet Atkins Nashville Model" headstock plate, thumbprint fingerboard inlays, 24-karat Gold plated parts, Gretsch Bigsby tremolo, built-in muffler/mute, standby switch, padded back, Grover StaTite tuners and the stunning "Red Amber" Gretsch finish.

This particular guitar is a first (official) year example of the "Nashville," dating to July 1967. There is the usual Gretsch binding degradation in places but overall condition is very good and it comes in its original hard shell case.
