A superb example of a classic 50’s Stratocaster and hands down one of our all time favorite Strats we’ve had in the shop. The neck on this example has a definite V profile, more akin to the profile of a ’57. 1958 was the last full year of maple neck production and this one has minimal fretwear and a lovely unfaded 3-tone sunburst; the first year that this changed from 2-tone. Good Stratocasters from this era are getting harder and harder to come by and the ten out of ten museum pieces are terrifying to use and often not the best playing examples for one reason or another. This guitar is beautifully honest with signs of light play wear and as such can be used and enjoyed as well as being a fantastic investment-grade Golden Era Fender. About as good as it gets!
