The Senator was listed in the Selmer catalogue between about 1953 and 1973, sitting between the Congress and President in archtop price. There were many small variations throughout it’s existence but consistent features were a plain maple body top, flame maple veneers for the back and sides, five triple-dot fret markers and a compensator tailpiece. Ours is a Brunette finish 1958/59 electric example – the single neck pickup adds a lot of versatility to it’s already strong acoustic tones. In excellent condition with the original hardshell case.
